How about a glimpse of a day, or week, in your paleo diets? Nothing fancy, no recipes needed- just a list of your breakfast/ lunch/ dinner/ snacks, to give n00bz like me a better idea of where to start? If one were to accidentally eat non-paleo/gluten-free, don't omit it, it just shows you're human! :) You chickies are doing awesome!

ReplyDeleteAs an example, here was what I ate yesterday:
Breakfast - scrambled eggs with roast beef and spinach
Morning Snack - smoothie made with frozen strawberries, froz banana, fresh avocado, cocoa powder, honey, almond butter and almond milk
Lunch - leftovers - spaghetti squash with meat & veggie sauce
PM Snack - "Apple Pie" Larabar...and then a few squares of dark chocolate!
Dinner - Pork chop, steamed broccoli and roasted butternut squash
Dessert - Apple Pumpkin muffin (from www.unrefinedkitchen.com)
I always try to make extra dinner so I have lunch the next day without thinking too hard about it. That's probably my biggest word of advice - when you cook, make extra! I also try to keep nuts and/or a Larabar on hand in case I get the munchies at work. Keeps me from eating something I'll regret.
